As part of its customer relations efforts, European airline group, AirFrance-KLM, has introduced a range of consistent ground services called SkyPriority for its premium passengers at the Murtala Mohammed International Airport Lagos.
A statement by the airline office in Nigeria said the new service, which would be gradually implemented in more than a thousand airports worldwide in 2013, offered ‘exclusive’ benefits from check-in to baggage delivery.
The services, it said, were offered free of charge to all its premium passengers. The Franco-Dutch carrier listed the benefits to include priority at check-in which included dedicated check-in counters and priority baggage drop-off desks at the Lagos airport and also on onward journeys through Paris-Charles de Gaulle and Amsterdam-Schiphol airports; priority right up to the boarding gate, which include faster and privileged access through security checkpoints and passport control.
The benefits, it said, also included priority at boarding and priority baggage delivery. The airline group noted that there would be faster access for passengers with no checked in bags.
