Nigerian Federal Lawmaker Allegedly Billed £240 For Watching Premium Adult Channels

The Summer Olympics in London has come and gone with Nigeria having her poorest outing so far in the history of the games. While Nigerians are gradually overcoming the disappointment that characterised our attendance, news is, the chairman of a House committee (names withheld), was allegedly involved in a mild scandal relating to watching adult channels.
According to reports, the Federal Lawmaker from Kaduna state in the National Assembly, had unknowingly incurred some extra hotel bills and was asked to pay up at the check-out desk. Although it is understood that his hotel bills had been borne by Nigeria’s organizing committee to the Olympics, it did not cover the bill of watching premium channels which attract high charges.

The lawmaker allegedly denied watching the said channels at first but when the hotel management had no choice, they confronted him with details of his p*rn*graphy watching while staying in his hotel room. Left without an escape route, the Honourable member reluctantly accepted responsibility of watching the said channels and had to cough out two hundred and forty British pounds sterling (£240) before he was allowed to check out.
Talk of different strokes for different folks- while our athletes were busy sweating it out in the various sports, our dear lawmaker was busy watching ‘blue films’ but then, what else could he have been doing?
